XR Prelude History

A press test drive event was held at the Hakone Highland Hotel on May 7th, 1980 for the newly released SN-200 Prelude XR and XE. This was done at the Suzuka Circuit to test the new Bridgestone Potenza RE47 tires, alongside the Accord testing the new Michelin XZX tires. The newly released PB-2 CVCC-II engine was also on display in the Accord and Prelude.
