1.8l EK1 Engine Capacities

  • Engine Oil
    • Oil Type - SN Grade 10W-30 or 10W40 (Most SAE oils have "SN" on the label donut)
    • Crankcase with filter change - 3.7 US Quarts / 3.1 Imp. Quarts / 3.5 Liters
    • Crankcase without filter change - 3.2 US Quarts / 2.7 Imp. Quarts / 3.0 Liters
    • Engine Installation (Complete Drain) - 4.2 US Quarts / 3.5 Imp. Quarts / 4.0 Liters
  • Manual Trans Oil
    • Fluid Type - SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40
    • Drain & Refill Capacity - 2.5 US Quarts / 2.1 Imp. Quarts / 2.4 Liters
    • Transmission Install (Complete Drain) - 2.6 US Quarts / 2.2 Imp. Quarts / 2.5 Liters
  • Automatic Trans Oil
    • Fluid Type - DEXRON Automatic Transmission Fluid
